~Hold It All: Finding Safety in Grief and Joy
A Somatic Mini-Retreat for BIPOC Adoptees

June 28, 11AM PST/2PM EST/8pm GMT+2 Virtual, On Zoom, 80min
Limited Spots—Save yours now!

So many adoptees have been performing joy for years. The good adoptee. The grateful one. Always fine, always light, always holding it together so others wouldn't worry.

But real joy—joy that lives in the body, not the story—that takes capacity. And capacity comes from being able to feel the hard stuff too.

Joy and grief don't cancel each other out. When we finally feel safe enough to hold both — that's what we'll explore together.

THIS IS FOR YOU, IF YOU'RE TIRED OF:

Overtalking your emotions instead of feeling them

Performing okayness when something inside still hurts

Feeling guilty for grieving what others expect you to be grateful for

Wanting joy, but feeling guarded, numb, or disconnected from it

Longing for BIPOC adoptee community where you don’t have to explain the basics

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN AND EXPLORE:

The nervous system science behind joy and grief and why capacity matters more than mindset

Somatic tools to move between joy and grief without shutting down

Journaling framework to completely rethink your relationship with grief and joy

Honest BIPOC community & optional group sharing

EXPECT TO FEEL:

Grounded in your body, not just your head

felt sense of joy that belongs to you

Connected to BIPOC adoptee community without explaining yourself

Resourced with tools you can use daily
